Studying for the GMAT

words don't speak to me the way numbers or pictures do
when i see an equation, i can run through my mind all the ways in which
these numbers allow me to calculate how fast a tree falls
at what angle i must cut my wood
how fast i must run to catch up to the person in front of me

numbers and pictures are grounded in my reality.
i can see, touch, smell

Words are just ideas that float in my head. Ideas turn
but do not necessarily manifest.
they float in my head- for what purpose do they hold?

words translate what is inside of me.
what is in my head, my stomache, my gut.

numbers translate what is outward, inward.
words translate what is inward, outward.

Go Figure. My quant scores are higher.
